December is finally here! It is a special month for VA for Life since it is my birth month (on the 8th) and I am giving away a big, big virtual assistant sale!
I started the first day of the month being crafty by making this festive flower arrangement for our family room! Looking at this just makes me happy and it reminds me that Christmas is just a few sleeps away – another reason why I am giving away a big blow-out sale.
Today, December 2, 2013 – VA for Life kicks-off the first Monday of the month by sending just a little Christmas to Tacloban. I have managed to gather up some relief goods like: bottled water, noodles, meatloaf, sanitary pads and clothing.
I am extremely heartened by the compassion shown by my clients and friends across the globe who poured in their generosity to help those that are in need. When a person wants to help, they will help without any second thoughts.
I learned that Tacloban residents are also in need of kitchen utensils, toothbrushes, medicines, and sanitary kits aside from the basic necessities. If you want to join us in the cause, please take a moment to check this page.
In the aftermath of the storm surge, residents hit by Typhoon Haiyan/Yolanda are slowly getting up on their knees and are starting to rebuild their life. There is hope. It might take a year or so to rebuild their life and their city, what matters is we are helping them get back up – we are helping!
Tabang na! (Help now!)
Rise, Tacloban! (Bangon, Tacloban)
